Saxonia Thin 37mm Review.
By: TheWindingStem : November 16th, 2017-00:08
After almost 3 months since I got my first Lange I believe I’m able to give my full honest review on this timepiece. I usually form a full opinion within the first two weeks but due to the simplicity of this watch, I wanted to see whether I would eventual...
Beautiful in its simplicity!

Wear with gold health my friend, this is indeed an elegant and beautifully finished timepiece!
A very important review!! :-)

Thank you Moe for sharing your experience with us. I too love this watch and there are two things worth noting when one compares this watch with say the Saxonia in 35mm. Despite being from the same family, the dial colours are slightly different. Your ult...
Great observations

Not many people notice the difference between the dials on the Saxonia 35mm and the Thin 37mm. The one on the Thin is indeed richer. As for the movement, i share your same sentiments- having the ratchet and crown wheels visible really adds a new dimension...
Thanks Moe for this great review

the beauty of a classic time-only gold watch has to be experienced and the Lange is a prime contender. Thanks, CC PS: recognise the museum
Thanks Mahesh

Really enjoyed your review

Like the watch, like the pictures (especially the first two). Congratulations!
Thanks for the review

I absolutely love everything Lange, and I must admit I've come very close to buying this watch myself a couple of times. The finishing and quality is top notch. Enjoy in good health.
Thanks for reading!

You can never go wrong with Lange.
Thank you for your impressions

Very nice shot from the profile. Is winding the watch audible? I read somewhere the movement is making a sound?
Yes it is.
By: TheWindingStem : November 17th, 2017-12:19
Not loud but i believe since the ratchet wheel is located on the surface the clicking of the wheel is a tad audible.
This might be a reason

I think the tough main spring might also cause the noise. Not directly but the ratchets. But the reward is a long power reserve.
This makes more sense
By: TheWindingStem : November 17th, 2017-13:15
couple that with a thinner movement maybe? in all cases the noise is barely noticeable.
Your wrist size
By: JW True North : January 28th, 2018-08:15
May I know your wrist size? Mine is at 7 1/4" and I am worried that it is too small for me.
I honestly don’t know

Here are pics of the Explorer in 39mm, Speedy in 42mm and Lange 1 in 38.5mm to give you a general sense by comparison: h ...
Please measure yourself
By: JW True North : January 28th, 2018-17:22
Can you please measure it with a string and measure it on a ruler?
Congrats for this great watch!

I find it perfect with this size. And to be frank, I find it boring with the 40mm diameter. Congrats! Fx
Thank you my friend!
By: TheWindingStem : May 21st, 2018-21:57
and i agree, the 40mm ruins the watch- at 37mm its perfections!
