This wrist shot is distorted by the wide-angle macro lens on the iPhone. The Terraluna actually looks smaller on me in the metal. While it is thick, it doesnât wear any significantly bigger than my Portugieser Perpetual Calendar. (My wrist is flexed backwards here. The crown doesnât actually impinge otherwise, or it would be a no-go.)
The piece is in fact gratifyingly understated when worn. The baroque elements are all on the back. This one is in good shape, and quite clean under the loup, with only a few micro-abrasions on the crystals (invisible to the naked eye). It rate tests at +2 seconds/day(!) and passes a pressure test.
Some features:
Manual wind
Perpetual calendar
24 hour indicator with rotating globe projection on back (effectively a world timer, if a little challenging to read)
Orbital moonphase revolving around globe
14 day power reserve with indicator on dial
Constant force escapement
Patented in-house balance spring.
Truly a grail watch for me, and no longer in serial production.
