Hi all. My first watch was a PP 5036 which I have since traded it to a PP 5056P. I loved the PP 5056P ever since and its been with me for about 9 yrs. Now I am thinking its ok to get a second watch. I would love to own a Perpetual now, and was looking at ... 

I got my Langamatic in platinum with deployment buckle (which is optional) few years ago, at first i can feel the weight and i like it because platinum is heavy metal in watch materials, but now i don't feel it is heavy anymore maybe because of its dims 3...  

... assuming they're the same metal. I have a 6" wrist as well and have had a Langematik Perpetual in PT (with non-standard 18mm PT deployant) for over 11 years. I don't think it's a heavy watch at all. I really love it. ...  

Lange watches in general tend to be heavier than their Patek counterparts. I once owned a 1815 chrono only for a month as it was too heavy for me despite its incomparable movement. Some will say it is the quality of Lange while others will say they like t... 

sham1 maybe you're correct about the PPs weight being lesser over the Langes. i also like to wear a watch without feeling a significant weight. Having now the choice of a new AC WG Lange or a second hand YG PC Langematik. i do like the Langematik Perpetua... 

Thanks to ianny for pointing out PT weighs more than the YG! I think there should be around 20% difference? sham1 did the watch you bought 1815 chrono - was it in PT? I tried the Langematik PC PT version for about a few seconds a few years ago and the fir... 

The 1815 chrono that I had owned was a rose gold model so the extra weight was not due to it being a platinum. Just for the record, the 1815 Chrono only comes in rose and white gold. You may not feel the weight as much when trying the watch on in the shop...
