My brief thoughts
The dial is exactly the same in terms of placement etc (but not text) as the original Lange 1, which I like.
But as was already noted the case proportions are very different, it's slimmer with shorter lugs. Suffice to say I very much prefer the old Lange 1.

... I am afraid to say. It is too big to be so flat, in simple words. The former model was actually quite good: big nad thick, as the name is suggesting. Some very, very nice shots from a very pretty rose gold model in your post! Best Moritz

You are right.
The bezel is slimmer than the old Grand Lange 1, as well as the regular Lange 1 (proportion wise). Slimmer bezel, and slimmer thickness - well balanced? In a way, maybe.... But I still prefer the regular Lange 1 size and proportion. Of course, YMMV. Ken ...
