I'm a sucker for guilloché, and with ALS, I presume it to be hand-turned.

A favorite Lange. And somewhat less Germanic in austerity. I need to give up watch collecting. Every time I think I’m done, I see another piece that goes on the list.

But it's the Emil for me here.

The 2011 is slightly bigger, slightly thicker and a bit "beefier" than the Emil. All 1815 mp are such romantic Langes. ...

But it’s so good 1) you can’t really tell and 2) perhaps it doesn’t matter. Which brings us back to the debate about PF’s current line of Tonda watches - if these 1815s were somehow stamped rather than properly engine-turned, there’s every possibility the...
