Lange 1815 Moon Phase Emil Lange in Rose Gold. My first encounter with this watch.
With Tactictac and Ninoitaliano, we had a lunch in Paris, and one of them brought not one but two 1815 moon phase Emil Lange, one in platinum, which I know well, and one in rose gold, which I never saw in the flesh.
I wanted to see it in the metal, for a very long time!
Not that I am a fan of colored gold, BUT... There are a few exceptions, and this 1815 Moon Phase Emil Lange is one of them.
Compared to the platinum, it is warmer, of course, more poetic, too.
At the point that I would gladly add it to my platinum version.
Here are some pictures I could take:
One surprise... The weight. You really feel the difference between the platinum and the rose gold.
Definitely one of the best Lange ever made... In my opinion.

Thank you Nico. Great to see the two side-by-side. The platinum appears to me the more sensual representation, which of course isn’t often the case in comparison to rose gold.
Not sure why I react this way. Are the dials the same black? The platinum almost reads “light black” in the photo...whatever that means 🤔
It occurs to me we will have 4 for viewing-two in each metal.
I wonder if tac tic tac or MikeH or Fx has one as well.
