Busy day...somewhat gloomy weather...need a couple of afternoon stimulants! Double shot espresso and WG Lange 1 moonphase 192.029. ...  

It seems to convey strength and purpose. At least to me it does.

Never thought of that but it does seem typical Lange in a way...nothing super flashy but with a purpose.

The L1 mp first generation was already a superb watch, but this second generation with its "lively" day/night indicator and the balance wheel next to the crown (☝️) is magnificent evolution.

The day/night indication is lovely and quite playful and romantic for Lange...lol

I agree about the L1...classic design that will stand the test of time I think

I wanted something blue but the dark purple just worked so well...

Came with a black alligator strap, I swapped it for this purple one with titanium stitching...it's a Jean Rousseau and I selected it at the Lange Boutique in NYC. I believe JR is the Lange OEM strap supplier and they had a wide variety of JR strap materia... 

This was just a color sample...one I chose the color and stitching it was about 2 months before I received it... ...  

Pairs super well with your Lange here, the purple is perfectly complimentary to the black aesthetics. JR knows what they're doing. Is that platinum threading, by the way?

I went in thinking I would get a blue strap to match the day/night indicator but ended up really liking the purple...exactly as you said, it pairs well with the black and WG look. It's titanium stitching.

Especially now with the cooler weather...more leather strap watches will be worn!
