The thing with Lange is that no matter what piece you purchase first, you can be assured to be getting a masterpiece with the best finishings seen on the market with a mainstream manufacturer, and it gives you this "oomph" feeling as i'd always love to put it.

Concerning the 1815 it was shown in 2009 (I know it from Foversta's blog ^^) and in 2010 I think it was the chronograph version of the 1815. I tryed the search engine but I didn't dig deep enough though, I'll have a closer look at them

Congrats for this superb PG 1815 Boréale.
This watch was the first step by Lange to improve the power reserve of their watches. The brand new caliber is very efficient and the size is perfect, at least for my wrist. Fr.Xavier...

The rose gold comes out very warm in the photos... beautiful! I prefer the 1815 as a simple time-only watch over a Patek Calatrava that's for sure! Congratulations on an excellent choice!
