Although I agree with that comment I think this is biased.
This is a sickness of all industry. Would you care to tell me how many Royal Oak chronograph variants there? Gauss himself lacks the comprehension to calculate that.
Same goes for Patek 5960! How many? 10 already? Or increasing with every boutique opening or renowation? For the sake of argument I'm just keeping this short but you know that there are tens of other references from almost every brand.
Comparing to them, a piece like Zeitwerk getting updates once in a while should not be bothering since it stands as unique in the ocean of watches.

I wonder how long until we see this. I, for one, would be interested. Thoughts? Cheers! ...
I think it looks great, but...

the white gold is more in line with the cold teutonic Lange esthetics. To me, the Zeitwerk screams German machine engineering, and the cold white gold look matches this perfectly. Best, Daniel

but I should prefer a lesser contrast. Maybe a black dial on a honey gold case?
Rose gold / pink gold etc

too abuse... Much preferred the original white gold on Zeitwerk. Honey gold is also a better option

states that, for every possible permutation of dial colour and case metal, Richemont will make it! So I have no doubt we will see this before long.

and you're absolutely right that this is an industry-wide problem.
