Great watch, my all time favorite.
Absolutely agree with you, Nicolas my friend.
I loved this watch so much that I acquired two, one as a daily wearer and the other as a backup. 
A happy duo.
A harmonious trio, with another member from the top 5.
A heroic quattro, in illusion of reflection.
Now I don't wear the Anniversary often, but it still remains my most favorite watch. I let go the unused one, but still have one left. Definitely a keeper for me, for good.

Lange do make great platinum watches
I don't know but for some reason I find Lange platinum watches exceptionally well executed. One would think that rose gold or yellow gold would be the matching metal for all the romantic Langes, but platinum gives them also a cool, ueber-elegant appearanc...
If you add the Platinum Cabaret and the Lange one with its gorgeous black dial...
You have the Fab 5! Plus, Platinum gives a lot of density to watches which are not too big, which provides a nice feeling on the wrist. Yes, definitely a masochistic post! Best, Count. Nicolas

Look at a Patek WT, for example, or a JLC MUT, or a JLC Duometre, or some Vacherons from the begining of 2000s ( without havong to mention the vintage ); or some Breguet from the same era, or... Best, Nicolas

Nicolas, there is a way to cure your pain.
Find one and buy it back. It is more expensive now but you need to do it. Otherwise, the pain will be perpetual. Dont forget, you are immortal. Regards Ling

The watch is certainly good, but I am not a big fan of digital hours and minutes.
A digital hour, ok, digital minutes, ok, but both is too much for me. It makes me think about these damn transistor alarm clocks + radios from the end of the 70ies. Best, Nicolas
