First Lange watch - not Lange 1!? (decisions...)
Dear All,
Thank you so much for great posts on a variety of all things Lange. I as many others had a chance to visit SIHH this week, and it made the 'need' to pick my first Lange watch all the more pressing. 
You see, for many months I was convinced it will be Lange 1. A classic piece, iconic design, no questions asked. But lately I was considering putting in more money but finally getting a complication watch. I already have a Rolex Datejust and Cartier Balon Bleu which I both adore, and wear regularly. Both of these watches are simple hour/minute/date watches.
Did anyone had to choose between Lange 1 and Saxonia Annual Calendar? If so, which one did you pick and why? Saxonia looks excellent, except the moonphase indicator - I find the moon icon lazy. Same with Lange 1 with moonphase, and majority of other watch brands e.g. Patek. The only company that does moonphase right is in my opinion Breguet. Apart from the moonphase the Saxonia Annual looks perfect to me.

It looks incredible and I love the black dial, but I'm afraid it will be very difficult to find.

I think the Saxonia annual calendar is beautiful too
One of the less appreciated Langes IMHO. Here are some wristshots my good friend Ianny took and shared before. The blued hands are so yummy! Let us know your decision :) You can't go wrong with a Lange! Cheers Robin ...

Fantastic piece with useful complication, if you travel.
Summer/winter time problem
I travel a lot and can't get over the fact Timezone watches are wrong half the time (summer/winter time switch).
You can't go wrong with either

I made this exact choice.
I opted for the Lange 1, which I find has a unique handsomeness to it. Mine is yellow gold with a champagne dial. A bit factor, however, in my decision was that I had a Perpetual Calendar at the time and thought that getting an Annual might be redundant. ...
