So.....my watch has been on my wrist now for a few weeks. I have now sent it off to service. First time back in 10 years since being made. But after a few weeks, I can offer at least some first impressions. 1) At 39mm, it is almost a perfect size for my t...

I believe the inner sapphire is antireflection coated which gives a clear look upon the dial. Overall a very intricate watch that conveys this fact immediately to the spectator.

.....i have learnt over a prolonged period.... that my gut instinct can be wrong. A part of that is my own professional training. Whereas many are trained not to be wrong, i am trained to expect be wrong and then recognise that....its counter-intuitive.

will the weight cause an imprint on the wrist? Item 7) Annual Calendar? I'm a little confused... I heard the Spa service from ALS is great and the watch will return pristine, will be nice to know then. Congrats again and I hope you're feeling better and r... 

.....not sure about imprint on the wrist. I think I get that from any watch that I wear. I love teh feeling of heaviness. Annual calendar chrono..... I find teh complication odd. A chrono is a sports function. Pairing it with an annual calendar seems an o... 

I thought it's just a pure Chrono with Date function? I'm also debating my exit watches, about getting a complication "chrono + PC" or just pure chrono and a pure PC.

.......but I was trying to make the point that I don't do complications with chronos at all....but if i did it would be perpetual. So, the Datograph is very much a complication that goes against some of my rules.

My favourite actually! I hope it will bring you as much satisfaction as it bring me!

I never liked the look of it much, but seeing it in yellow gold spurred a change of heart. NOW I get it, and I can appreciate it much more in all metals. I'm curious, what's your buckle situation -- deployant or tang?

Which service center shall be responsible for the care? Please share the results!

When I had the dato, just released it, I found it too top heavy. I really prefer the dimensions of the journe centigraph. 40mm wide, under 10mm thick.

.....it is its heaviness and depth that attract me. Whereas I find the Journe Centigraph too unbalanced by the subdials.

When I tried the platinum datograph,I got the impression it had be worn as tight as possible. ( Definitely not too tight ) Best, Ahmed
