I’ve wanted a Zeitwerk for years. Finally caved. ...  

If I had the wrist for it I would have caved a long time ago. Many congrats, this is one watch with a very strong personality.

I do love it in white gold. I have an early “old movement” watch which I kind of like. I think the “pre load” is kind of a fun feature. Maybe it’s Just me?

Must be a cosmic connection, because I retrieved mine from the vault after a long gap, and falling in love with it all over again!!! 😁 Btw, which version did you get ... older or newer movement (w/ or w/o preload)? Enjoy it to the fullest! 🍻 ...  

Although I have the newer one, I have to say that the little preload in the older one makes it a bit more charming, a bit more "mechanical" in spirit. The newer one is nice and quartz-like precise, but maybe it loses some of that charm a bit ...

the mk1 vs mk2 of L043.1 movement. mk1 was produced from the start to up until ~2016-2017 and mk2 was produced from ~2016-2017 until its discontinuation. Both have the anchor bridge. A pic for your reference: ...

OK... I admit it... I am VERY jealous. Been thinking about one for a LONG time. I am sure it may be too big for my wrist but I REALLLLY want one. lol Enjoy yours and put lots of fun straps on it. Thanks for sharing.
