A. Lange & Söhne

Like Darien, who just posted a thread about the price difference between these two models, I have been struggling for a while trying to decide which would be my first Lange. The Lange 1 Moonphase was an early contender, but once I tried it on it felt smal...  

The 1815 in white gold is among my favorite Langes. The blued hands look great against the white metal. The new movement looks to have some nice improvements. You did well, I believe. Enjoy it. Best, californiJed

And yes it looks great with a suit but don't hesitate to dress it down with a pair of jeans and sports shirt... i love to do that with my RL PLT Wear it in good health.

The watch looks great! A great choice! I would suggest that you try it with a blue strap! As this will match the hands quite nicely. Enjoy your beautiful new watch!

Your new watch reflects in the better way the traditional orological german craftmanship. No other else could display so clearly the human wit. Lange 1815 shows masterly the path to haute orlogerie. Its not only the entry level. Its much more. Congrats.

When I saw it in the flesh, during the SIHH, I loved it a lot. That is a true nice Lange, obviously. Class, Elegant, Dressy, Timeless, I don't see any flaws in this watch, only pleasure. Welcome to the Lange World. Best, Nicolas

As you know I have had "trouble" deciding myself on which Lange was the right one for me... This could very well be it, but I am feeling it will not be the only one ;-)

Great choice and looks good on your wrist. I have the previous model 1815, and still enjoy wearing it with both suits and casual.

I am having the same dilemma as you with the RL. Love the watch with that very special movement. But I am having a hard time convincing myself to have it in coloured gold. The 1815 is a very serious contender for me. Will be interesting to see it in real ...
