Back and happy with a milestone piece

Due to personal reasons, I was on a hiatus from watches for awhile. During this period, the focus is on family and I stayed away from most watch related contents and left quite a few watch groups. Hope everyone here have been well and fine.

Things have been better for me recently and I find myself gravitating towards the hobby again. Hence my first post in a long while.

The Zeitwerk is a watch which was released 13 years ago, back in 2009. It is the first mechanical wristwatch that displays the time digitally with jumping hours and minutes and IMO a watch which is ahead of its time back then and even today.

There is nothing quite like a Zeitwerk. And to me, it is the perfect embodiment of Lange’s credo to never stand still. I am quite grateful and happy to be able to add this milestone piece to my small collection.
