My basic step into Lange
almost never had a classic watch in my whole collection, so this might be a good start , changed the black strap into a mat dark blue one with a wider buckle 20/18mm...

That's exactly what I have in mind

Your watch looks wonderful, Patrick -- great choice! I was really surprised when Lange discontinued the 1815 series c.2008. I was unsurprised when rumors began to circulate just after that happened saying, "Supposedly Lange will bring back the 1815 soon."...

'Basic' is really a misnomer when it comes to Lange watches. Congratulations on your first Lange, and hopefully there will be more to come! Pictures of the amazingly movement please.
