Don't feel guilty

I don't believe you are doing anything wrong at all with your Lange 1.
It is very annoying to have these things happen with any brand of watch, especially a high end watch. Alkis is absolutley the tops in the business and he will, I am confident, repair your watch this time so it gives no further problems. Reoccuring problems happen with all brands. Do not despair.

Lange 1 troubles

Just today, my Lange 1 went on the fritz again...I was pulling out the crown to reset the time after winding it up from empty. The power reserve then snapped from full to empty. After talking to Alkis on the phone, I had to ship it back to him for repairs...

Hmm sad to hear ...

Thanks for all the feedback...I actually feel a little bit better after reading carsten's experience, so I know Alkis isn't tackling a unique problem. Hopefully it'll be the last time I'll have this issue. I guess I can follow Edwin's lead and not wind it...

To be honest ...
