Does anyone with a Lange 1 live in New York City?

Dec 21, 2018,12:51 PM

I'm on the brink of consummating a strong love affair with the Lange 1, but the winder is holding me back.  I find it too small to grip between thumb and forefinger. Does anyone have a similar problem? My compromise is to run the length of my index finger down along the crown to turn it. Not ideal. Also, and of more concern, is the fairly stiff resistance of the crown, which I'm told lessens after some relatively short period of use. I hope that's true, or I don't think I could live with the stiffness. It's a leap into the unknown, hence my hope that someone might be willing to talk to me, and give me some real-world advice. It would be greatly appreciated. I live in New York City.

Had my eyes on this new Lange 1 Moon phase ~ 2 years ago. Love the ingenious day/night indicator. It’s technical, elegant and romantic all in one! I am over the moon! ...

Thanks, bro!

Surprised you didn’t mention “something”. 😉👍

Of course, the title ”命太好” is very well associated with “mj23” now 😊

I already assumed this is so in my mind and it’s undisputed 👍🏻

Amazing pickup

Couldn’t agree more!

That was exactly my situation

And I finally gave in and had to scratch the itch!! It’s such a stunning watch that I can’t resist anymore. The only one thing I wish it has is the black date disk.

I agree with the black date disk.

But alas, it is not to be. Still a stunner. I am waiting for an event in order to associate it with this beauty.

Thanks, Arie

The legendary Alkiro once told me that it was the moonphase he preferred. I can see why now.

Thanks, sham1

I agree with him totally. I was sure I would get a Lange 1 until this one was released. Never looked back.

Much more romantic

Have to say your photos of this watch gave me many itches! 😉

Excellent —

 By: Chromatic Fugue : December 14th, 2018-18:49
— now you just need to set that moonphase to “waxing crescent” rather than “waning gibbous.” : )

Just a hunch...

Something tells me you will have more to share in the not too distant future!
