It does seem to me that there are more YG releases appearing these days than in the past decade or two.
I too remain curious as to whether the trend will have staying power. As for colored dials, I'm all for the recent emergence of green and red (think IWC Portuguieser Chrono and Automatic, the last from Czapek), and really hope to see more salmon and brown...

Yellow gold is and was the metal of choice for any high end watch. Regardless in the West or in the East particullarly. RG and WG are actually niche products and hence the premium. I love yellow gold!
I think maybe the rise in Gold prices is a good connection again...

I know there are some models with the hinge back and his signature but not the inscriptions. ALS probably should start a museum for all their important watches. Thank you for the surprises of Lange you always bring to the table
