Old school, but in a good way!
Just spent a day preparing a leadership course for a client. To the left of my computer, I had these three old school things to look at for inspiration (think: Quality).
A 2nd generation (40 mm) 1815 in yellow gold, a Montblanc M pen designed by Marc Newson and my notebook from Barneys New York (yes, the closed dept. store).
I am a sucker for things like this,

The 1815 came in 36 then 40 then 38.5. Why do you prefer the 40?

I always have thought YG came with brushed sides and only the older RG came with polished sides
