I had it confirmed last week the piece is Boutique only.

I'd take a boutique employee's statement about non-boutique availability with a grain of salt :)
I think the same sort of application procedures would apply at ADs, though.
I confess I've yet to see it in the metal, but will definitely look for a Lange boutique and ask to take a close look in summer...

I think the dial is very well balanced
Especially when the date window displays double digits. Haven't seen one in the ALS display of the local AD but will ask the next time I stop by.
