This seems a contemporaneous example, the 35 jewels notation is variously on the dial or movement, but the lugs are unmistakeable:

Today is the 6th day of our 7 day marathon (should I make it 8 days because lots of us have Monday off this weekend?) Seiko show and tell experience. We've had clocks and watches; constructed of pot metal and plastic and platinum; minutes, hours, full, 1/...

Hi Well this one is my last Seiko to post - nothing about it be the lesser of the ones I own though! It's most definitely the newest too. So apologies for the continual shots of it - I'm sure it'll slowly find its way & settle in with my other watches...
