Mountain adventure w/ the ceramic Black Bay

It had been many, many years since I had been to Aspen as a kid.  Not at all my kind of town, aside from the incredible mountain setting.  We were only there for 2 days, and kept on the go.  God delivered exceptional weather for us - mid 50s Fahrenheit - and that was much appreciated for hiking Maroon Bells.  If you are ever in this area, it is well worth a visit.

Rockwell's "I always feel like, somebody's watching me" came to mind when this little fellow was trailing us.

As close as I have ever been to a fox in the wild.  He is obviously comfortable around the many hikers who come to this trail.

This Tudor is up for anything, especially on the green canvas strap.

We visited Ashcroft Ghost Town before heading home, and that was also a very neat experience.

Until next time...

Maybe that was the Fantastic Mr. Fox on your trail.
