I see. Best way to scratch that particular Rolex itch would be the Exp 1. Great one and done but if not, relatively easy to move along. In this case, AK would be last on the list. 2nd to the Exp 1 would be Exp 2 for fit. The Milgauss might be top heavy..

For some and not as easy to center on the wrist.

They’re all close contenders and you can’t really go wrong with any smile

To the WPS world and the Rolex experts if you could have only one, which would you choose?

The Explorer 1 Mark II The Explorer II-40MM Blue or Green MilGaus Modern AirKing (Nico Favorite) These are my favorite steel Rolex options and I am leaning heavily lately towards the Explorer 1 Mark II but 2 years ago was the Explorer II... -D-

For me, the one and only would be...

The current GMT Master II Pepsi. Really, it does it all. Kent

My favorite GMT is the Black Dial/Bezel with Green GMT hand!

Just not possible from an AD and I wont pay the current grey market prices for the GMT's...But they all are pretty sweet! -D-

I hear you!

I was fortunate enough to get my Pepsi from my AD a couple of years ago. The first and I hope last time I've paid full retail for a Rolex! I can't imagine buying from the gray market. ...

Not bad at all.

Thanks Echi! I do have 6 other watches but need to check off the Rolex itch and these 4 are the ones that have most intrigued me and fit into the rotation well!

I have always liked the Polar Explorer 2 Dials but recently the black dial and layout of the Explorer 1 is so simple but so pleasing.. I have also come to find that 39MM is a really nice fit on my wrist! I do need to try them on in the flesh but with Role...

If that is the list:

Explorer 1. Classic, legendary and pure from an esthetic point of view. The others are good though. Follow your heart. Not a bad one in the bunch.

Thanks Roger!

But, I will go leftfield here and say ExpII 40mm. It is cool and I don’t think Rolex will ever go back to 40mm sadly.. Alex

This might be a must one day anyways if I can find one for a good price.. I like the new ones but I think the 40MM is the one for me!

Who knows with my addiction all 4 could end up in the collection! I passed on the Milgauss blue over a year ago and definitely regret it.. Thanks for the feedback! -D-

I look forward to how this plays out!

it would have to be the Explorer 2 40mm,so versatile. Now if the Explorer 1 was 36mm,,114270,that would be quite another thing

Thanks pmh600!
