She never won an Oscar and was only nominated once, in 1960, for “Pillow Talk”, the first of her romantic comedies with Hudson. I think that she was worthy of an Oscar.

I loved all her movies. Not sure if I have seen them all but since 1975 or so I can say that I have seen many of her movies on German TV, if not all. Very nice, familyfriendly funny movies. But she lives on, in her movies.

I grew up watching the Doris Day Show. :-(
