The grey side elicits a similar reaction as . . .
. . . the Apollo-Soyuz meteorite dial or Apollo 11 45th anniversary limited edition Professionals: very cool, but not necessarily because they're Speedmasters.
In other words, they're appealing on grounds other than being part of the Speedy family. Personally partial to grey dials, and now with the benefit of hindsight wish I'd moved on the titanium version when it was new.
