My only Omega, and one there was never a plan to buy.
I picked this watch up very randomly. A little after these were released (and I was not aware of the specific watch) I was wandering around a small Swiss city casually looking at windows. I can’t recall what else was on the specific window where I saw this but I do remember that this watch was not at eye level, it was on a lower level display.
It was different, there was a cartoon character on the dial! But that made it fun. It was also cheap, relatively speaking. At the time I had a Sea-Dweller and a bunch of Panerai, this Omega was at least half the price of any of those (at least when converted back to dollars). Easy decision then.
I can’t say I have worn or do wear it with any regularity but when I do I’m pretty happy to have it.

Right? Like a lot of things 10+ years ago, just sitting there.
I don’t think I understand the market for either piece to be honest, it’s very silly given production numbers.
