The Eagle has landed! My “new” FF 50th Anniversary Series II

Nov 14, 2019,10:31 AM

I am no expert photographer, but here is an iPhone pic. It’s a series II. With each watch numbered and a total of only 150 made, it’s not too hard to track down how it ended up with me. I appear to to be the 4th owner. This watch made its way to New York, San Francisco, Singapore, and back to NY!

Inspired by Shortys home, she will be going on a Tropic strap fairly soon. I also want to take this time to call other 50th Anniversary owners and former owners to post their pics (I believe amanico is an owner/prior owner, as well?)

I forgot the difference between Series 1, 2, and 3 for these. Was it just the region they were sold in?

Thanks for the confirmation!

I recall lusting after them when they were first released, but way out of my budget at the time.

So each edition...

...and the tropic strap will not be available until March! They told me that the Barakuda is a new watch and “parts” for it (the strap is a part) won’t be made available until March. Oh well, I guess I’ll keep it on the bracelet until then 😃

Congratulations!
