Seems like it was a time of invention and some interesting and usual watches were produced like the Breitling Super Ocean “slow timer” with a minute chrono hand -- originally a dive watch. Since the hand moves slowly, there is also an indicator at 6 to let you know if it is going. I also love their Cosmonaute, though it take a while to get used to reading the time. My Heuer 2447 are pretty classic, although there were a lot of dial variations. There were also a lot of Autavia variations with GMT, different bezels, etc.
The feeling and size of all of them is great, depending on one’s mood and outfit.
