Announcing Theme for WS edition of next Friday 11th...
Hello dear friends!
I´ll have the pleasure of hosting next Friday 11th edition of WS. The Theme will be: "A place for the Humble". Let me explain...
Though we usually view in our Forums pictures of many wonderful, high end/expensive watches of famous brands or coveted vintage collection pieces in posts of our different forums at WPS, I have learned along my trip through the meandering road of watch collecting that there is a place in our watch boxes for more humble pieces as well.
As a matter of fact I feel that not always we need to spend big bucks to enjoy a charming piece which will make us smile each time we wear it on our wrist. I also have observed that even in collectors owning marvelous collections they usually also own a watch (or several) which are in the opposite side of the price scale of their main collection.
The call to our members this week end is to share with us your "humble" pieces and tell us why they were chosen and/or how they got an special place in their watch boxes.
