She never won an Oscar and was only nominated once, in 1960, for “Pillow Talk”, the first of her romantic comedies with Hudson. I think that she was worthy of an Oscar.

I loved to watch movies with her since I was a kid. At least she was blessed with a long and achievementful life. Still sad...

I loved all her movies. Not sure if I have seen them all but since 1975 or so I can say that I have seen many of her movies on German TV, if not all. Very nice, familyfriendly funny movies. But she lives on, in her movies.

her favorite film was “Calamity Jane”.

I am sure, there will be many of her movies soon be televised again in memoriam on German TV.

Was at a drive-in theater with my parents. Please Don't Eat the Daisies. Hot summer night, popcorn in a bag and speaker hanging on the car window. We're losing our childhood icons.
