Seiko Sunday - anyone wearing one today?
Nov 04, 2018,02:05 AM
Wearing my ‘first’ Grand Seiko today - the SBGX097. Had it for over three years now with several different straps being tried during that time.
Currently I wear it with a super comfortable cashmere strap by Chopard (the one from the steel LUC XP), which was incidentally of the same 19/16 width needed.
Today I was even fortunate enough to capture the green of its dial, too - fairly elusive generally
Anyone else wearing a Seiko, Grandseiko, Credor or Galante today? Have a great Sunday!

If the wrong date is a statement that you do not need to care about such things Great watch, though. I am still wondering how to explain a second Turtle to myself but there’s a definite pull there...

Is still a relationship with lots of potential. And I agree with you - on quite some pieces they could be more imaginative but they are visibly improving in the meantime...

Hi Wearing this - photo from a while ago Just dull & grey here - so I'll struggle to do it justice Your GS looks great - what colour is the dial? I'm thinking charcoal grey, dark blue or dark green - be good to see more shots Cheers JML ...
Thanks for the kind words, JML...
By: KMII : November 4th, 2018-07:26
And the lovely Urushi shots. The dial on mine is dark green but most of the time looks like being between charcoal and black. Only when the light is right, does it show its green side

I love the red "Sunday" print!
By: Marcus Hanke : November 5th, 2018-00:44
The blue "Saturday" makes me smile, announcing a hopefully great weekend, and the red Sunday tells me it's gonna be a great family day. Marcus

GS Has been this week's main axe. Under normal lightning dial appears almost black, but a sudden and unexpected ray of light can change the appearence quite a bit. Riku ...
A different GS green...

But with the same ‘stealthy’ feature - you only see it when the light is right. Great shots, Riku72!
Yes, wearing a GS today

Never ever missing the precise center And it seems your dial has a trick up its sleeve as well - like many GS dials do
