Rolex

All — i have developed an inexplicable attraction to the platinum Day Date — the traditional 36 mm version with glacier dial. I am resisting this attraction because the watch costs more than a nice car, and it doesn’t have the finishing or horological sig... 

For me this is the exact model I would buy if it was within reach price-wise. I tried one on at an AD last winter and it was a struggle to give it back. For now I’ll stick to stainless (Submariner and Air King) but if that day should come... Please post p...

I have modern Rolex watches but I do not think I will only buy this one and stop buying other modern Rolex watches. Baxter

Suppose someone in authority said: “you may own only one modern Rolex, but you can have it for free.” Would anyone choose a PT DD? I’m guessing that few here would choose that model, but am curious to know whether anyone here would seriously consider it f... 

Here my 36mm WG version, which I wore for more than 15 years. Sold it for the DD40. But still love it and sometimes I wonder if I should have kept it.... If your heart and your wallet say yes, than go for it. Life is too short. All the best, Thomas ...
