RM Future Concept?

Apr 20, 2018,17:56 PM

I must be honest in that what RM showed this year was awesome but I always feel RM could flex his muscles more! I’m looking forward to the future with this iconic watch in it and hope he is developing some really NEW super innovative concept pieces. New tourbillon movements as well as materials. I would like to see a RM NASA concept watch. Anyone have any idea of the next big piece to come from RM?

"Are you not entertained?" I say that in good humour of course, but would argue that in the past 8-12 months, RM has unveiled high-end pieces which would be 3-year cornerstone pieces in any other brand. In no particular order, new tourbillons RM027-02 Nad...

Very entertained!

And I always enjoy and await what’s around the corner with RM. I have always preferred the very earlier RM timepieces, the ones that drew me to this amazing innovative brand. I do not own any RM piece, neither have I had the pleasure of seeing any in pers...

Nice!

Very exciting that you will be seeing them in person for the first time - I hope the boutique is well stocked! I have heard stories of boutiques being nearly empty in recent months as the demand for RM pieces reached a fevered height. It terms of the Cyri...

I did not realise RM was that in demand?

I’m interested to see how they feel in person with regard to finish and overall wow factor compared to other top brands. I will be honest that in photographs, they can look plasticky and cheap but I’m sure that perception changes holding them in person. I...

McLaren BP23 concept

 By: cory : April 24th, 2018-12:19
What I would love to see is RM design a a beautiful sculptural concept watch and case that pushes the tonneau shape in a more conceptual way outside of the box... the new McLaren BP23 Concept car has epic sculptures lines and aesthetics that RM could inte...

Stop the product placement

For me the best RM are free from collaboration. Many of the concept watches, Nadal, Bubba, Massa etc would have stood on their own. They where exceptional pieces. ...

I do have to agree with you here.

But it seems collaboration is the way?

What’s your favourite RM?

I’m looking forward to seeing a RM053-01 soon.

Torn between classic Ti and NTPT

 By: grahamhar : April 24th, 2018-15:37
Having been captivated by the original DNA of the Ti pieces from over 15 years ago I do find it hard to move from what I originally liked. However, that original DNA was about pushing boundaries so the current focus on the NTPT based cases is very interes...

100% hope and agree.

A new future super material would be amazing and I hope RM has something amazing cooking for us to see soon. I too feel the NTPT is a little old. RM introduced me to complex high haute horology so I will always have a connection to the older designs.

RM Concept watch Collaboration with Pharrell Williams

Two legends combine their creativity to produce an incredible collaboration timepiece. What do you think?

Now that sounds exciting

I have often wondered if RM would enter the acoustic landscape - a shock proof repeater or sonnerie? Hmm. A collab with Pharrell though, I wonder. Considering there are several musicians out there who publicly wear his pieces, I am not sure Pharrell would...

A RM Pharrell Shock Proof Sonnerie would be amazing!

I would love to see RM enter the acoustic landscape and develop a shock proof sonnerie obviously with a twist. This would be a great brand fit between the two modern legends. Imagine a epic RM tonneau concept case with a sonnerie mechanism and sound board...
