Hallo Peter, let me add my experience with RM service.
first of all I own a RM 028. I know this is a very different watch. Much more simple. I brought my watch to service last year. It was within first three years after purchase and therefor service was free and I got a new 2 years long warranty. I brought the watch personally to the workshop of RM in Switzerland. I could arrange to pick it up a month later on my way to holiday. They informed me a couple of days before via Email that service was finished and everything is fine. All in all: Perfect and friendly communication. Perfect work. Short stay. Nice people.

I had an RM004v2 for about two years
The movement is robust with no issues what so ever at least during the time I owned it and I used to wear it a lot The RM004 is one of the best split seconds ratrapant out there with great value After all it\'s RMs ultimate CHRONO

It was and still is my favorite watch. But at that time I had to let it go due to other non holorogical issues
I needed cash to be honest that was the only reason and at that time seemed the only way As I said the watch is great with no issues and I would very much recommend it if you can
