and the Soviet leaders demanded something special. Beef was a rare thing in Soviet Union and they did not have the logistics for fresh fish. But chicken was plentiful and it was always served in all Soviet restaurants.
I used to travel to Soviet Union because of business some 25 times every year for more than 10 years. That was not my favourite thing to do even the night life was exciting.

The only Soviet dish which made history. It was created for the opening of Hotel Ukraine in 1953 - one of the monuments of Stalin. Your dog has good taste. Best, Kari

however this was a 'Persian' recipe from the Caspian Sea area with a bit of Arabic seasoning on top. My weekends at home are all about the 4 F's: Family, Friends & Fine Food
