I really like this Calatrava, so many details, all that hand-made work on the enamel, and off course the historical and beautifull movement, there is not much I could ask for in a dressing watch. Thanks for you input, and actually thanks for the post you made a few months/year ago, I have to admit that I read it a few times before jumping on the purchase when making my researches, very informative, well written and with such a passion that it certainly helped me making my mind, thanks!

As I said in the past it is not everyday we can have several pictures of such vintage watches. I'm glad you enjoy that watch so much. These models are full of little details and imperfections that are definitely unique. Thanks for sharing Alex. Best, Mark...
thanks Mark,

Very well said, the design is perfect bit actually what makes the watch so special are the hand-made imperfections, you don't find that easily anymore on newer watches.
I have definitely felt under its spell!

Wore it today at the office and found myself staring at my wrist very often. Not sure if someone saw me, they must think I do not read very well the time

Well, the key is the tripod off course The lens is a canon 100mm 1.4, very good for macro but portrait as well, I use it for my kids so that they don't feel me too close, otherwise it's impossible to take a good picture of the younger one, he won't let me...
thanks Mr Blue,
