To me, given authenticity is proven, the issue on relative value is whether this configuration is desirable to many others (i.e. same taste as you) in the future. Since you will not have the original dial and hands for the next owner to restore it back, IMO the relative value would be not be as high
The regulator lay-out is clean and interesting ! Love the brushed finishing. Did it take you long to get used to reading time from the regulator dial ?
