Lug to Lug size of 5100... and some Nautilus photos

Jul 20, 2017,09:15 AM

Dear all, I have developed some interest in 5100 considering it played a very unique role in Patek history. I had a chance to put a 5100J on my small wrist today and it seemed just fine although it's on the big side... anyone could tell me the lug to lug measurement of this stunner and their actual wearing experience?

Btw, I had attended a PP gathering in HK and quite a rare chance to spot so many Nautilus under one roof!

Cheers,

Nigel

I agree on the interest of this watch. I could not see one in the flesh, yet, but I am sure I will adore it. Best, Nicolas ...

I had tried one tonight...

Interestingly the lugs do not extend my wrist from top angle. But I am not sure how a watch with this shape should look on a wrist as "correct".

Thanks! [nt]

Regarding the case size of this PP, it's 34x46mm and almost 52mm lug to lug. Best wishes Alkiro

My pleasure my friend

Well, sometimes, if a timepiece is particularly well designed despite a "big" case size, it can be wearable even for small wrist. But you're absolutely right. Try it several times to be absolutely sure of your choice. Best wishes Alkiro

What a nice selection of PP. Regarding the 5100G, here are my wristshots taken in 2013. As I have a small wrist, I had tighten up the strap and find it comfortable. I hope you can have a closer idea. A great model IMHO Best, Patrickh ...

for your pleasure
