If I can have a very little drawback it would be the case size. As the dial is black, a 38mm case size instead of 36mm would have been better but... that is not disturbing at all. Best wishes Alkiro

Some days ago, I went to the Geneva Piaget shop to try the 900P and I discussed with the salesperson about watch case sizes. I told her that I was very happy to see Piaget makes this model in 38mm. She replied me that most of clients wanted bigger watches...

Why the average case size which was 35 or 36mm on average at the beginning of the 90s and now 40 or 42mm? Do you think that is because our wrists have increased so much? Watch brands answer to a certain demand because it is a market like another one. Best...

Mine do only have Swiss Made but the patina is quite watm/creamy. As for the crowns, agree not the most elegat crowns. Would have prefered more like the crowns on the Parking. Best Blomman

But no distinction between the tritium and the luminova... My guess is that the tritium is rarer, due to the fact that they have to stop using tritium quite early in the production of this model. Best, Nicolas

This is such a spectacular Memovox, the black dial, no date (!) and best of all the exhibition caseback are the biggest attractions. Is it me or is seeing the gong of the Memovox alarm ring a little like the joy of seeing a minute repeater. The one concer... 

Now I will have hard time deciding between this one and the TT DSA. Both would be my answer. As for the lugs, no, I don't feel they are out of proportion at all!

Hello, I 'm new on this forum. I recently bought a memovox with cal 914 and silver dial. I really love this watch but the way the alarm system works on my watch seems strange. if anybody has this 36mm manual memovox, i would like to ask a few questions to... 

I ve been told that the watch is supposed to work like this : the alarm rings when the hour hand reaches the alarm index. and during 30 to 60 minutes after that, the watch is still making some noise when you move it, meaning that the hammer is still free ... 

The Cal 914, your movement, is a Cal 918 with the removed rotor and automatic parts. So, not a modern movement. Best, Nicolas

when I shake/move the watch even when it is not the alarm time window ?

do you mean that it stops making noise after 30 or 60 minutes ( as it is supposed to do) or few hours later ? mine is very noisy during 30-60 minuted after the alarm is on (which is normal) but keeps making that little jungle noise until the next alarm ho... 

If the alarm spring is not wound, the hammer will be loose and will hit the gong as it passively moves, making a slight ring. If that bothers you, you can always give the alarm a quarter wind, and that will be enough tension to keep the hammer from moving...
