I never got why with the double folding buckle, JLC opted for white gold rather than platinum.

seem to me much stronger than those of the current Polaris series. Perhaps I am too much rooted in the past - but the Compressor Memovox is more straightforward design, bolder, more masculine. And withstands the test of time very well. And this Pt version...

Agree with you Nico, that’s why I bought 2 of the 16mm pin buckles as spares (the classic styling). You may still be able to get from some ADs but it has been discontinued. Now the pin buckles are with those huge JLC logos (I personally cannot understand ...
