Strap week: new shoes for the Chopard Mille Miglia 2014 Race Edition
I have had two visits to the Chopard Boutique this week, both times for new straps. First was a new grey croc for the LUC Chrono One (pics here: www.watchprosite.com ), then I got a call two days later that the new strap for my wife's Mille Miglia has arrived, too. Even though it was not on an express order it took just over two weeks - which I find exemplary for a custom made strap from a watch manufacturer 
So here the results:
My wife decided on a red barenia calf leather strap. It makes the watch somewhat more summery and works well with the Italian colour combo on the dial. Judging by its brown brother the watch came on, it should be quite durable, too. Especially since the watch goes through thick and thin of child rearing
