... the updated version with silicon hairspring. I suppose the wonderful cal 1315 will just not fit a 40mm case... Love this one!!! Cheers Henrik ...

I agree about the date. I wonder if the moisture indicator actually works...

First step in the right direction
This is the first Fifty Fathoms there is coming the "I want to have it feeling". I can make friendship with the date. Size is good. Indicator is fine. Blue instead of orange would be more closed to the original. All in all.... Bravo Blancpain! Best regard...
Its my understanding they use to use cobalt chloride on the moisture indicators.
It would start out blue and fade to a peach color. And i was told that if you spray argon onto old peach color CC it would change back to blue? Interesting science experiment. I think they should have use a nice peach color indicator. Brian ...

How about a regular down-sized BP FF at 40-42mm and a slimmer profile? That would be terrific. And if BP omits the date, I will head to my local Tourbillon boutique and order same-day Cheers, John
Size
A 42mm/13mm version without the date would be great. At 40mm it might be a tad too small (due to the thick bezel), but I look forward to seeing the life pictures.
Fan of everything except the date
Why ruin its good looks? And the awkward placement at 4:30. Sad. If they had to add the date (they didn't) then put it at least at 3:00 where it is more balanced.
I think they did a good job too.
The size is great but i could also loose the date. I think if they had to used the date it should have been in the 15 position like this revolution. The revolution was also 40 mm and has a matt case. The brown nato is most excellent. Cool watch too. Brian...

Kudos to Blancpain on this iteration of the FF! Perhaps in the years to come they will release a non limited 40mm without the moisture indicator? In any case this one is a beauty! Looking forward in learning more about it. Thanks for sharing, Mathias. Ale...
Pricing seems a little too high, I agree. For one simple reason...
...the calibre 1151. Even with being updated with silicon balance, it warrants more price discount compared to the calibre 1315 equipped FFs If the package included all, sailcloth, Nato and bracelet, it would be priced fair, though Cheers Henrik
Love this one an awful lot- really cool !.. But 2 really big BUTs: 1) this terrible Date & 2) the price to me is over the top ! ;))
