Rolex GMT MASTER 116 7xx series... This or that...Or those?

Steel Blue / Black versus White Gold Blue Red? Steel Black versus White Gold Red Blue? White metal? Or... Yellow Gold Black or Green Dial? Ok, I forgot the jeweled version and the two tone one. Still, there is enough choice here. What's your preference? B...
I'm leaning towards

either white gold or steel with red and blue. Preferably white gold.
BLNR [nt]

They are very appealing

Aesthetically speaking, my favorite is the white gold "Pepsi" version. As a buyer, it would be too heavy I think for me. I like the 2-tone for the old school spirit, even though I wouldn't wear it as too visible where I live. However, I think I like them ...
Steel blue/black bezel

I do not understand the concept of a sports watch in gold- yellow is a definite no, far too bling for me.
Pepsi dial it is...

Steel would be dear to my wallet... Hope Rolex launches a Pepsi & a Coke in steel soon. Best, mahesh.,
let's make the wish complete...

with brushed center links too ;-) guess the 'flashy center link' is the only thing I don't like in a gmt master today. Best, mahesh.,
I've got the same dilemma.

But after coming and going almost for a year, I pulled the trigger. BLNR wins. Long live Batman! ...
I'm a big fan of the Rolex GMT models.
By: willski : May 19th, 2017-13:38
I picked up my 116710BLNR in 2013 and it is by far the watch I wear the most. Movement is rock solid and (seemingly) very reliable, good looks and construction, and a very useful complication - it's just a very solid watch and not exorbitantly priced. I w...
Agreed.

A nice 1675 would go well with the BLNR
My choice.....

.....Yellow Gold Green Dial. Just beautiful. John.
Batman!

But if money was not a consideration, Pepsi for sure! J
I'm thinking they have yet to come out with "the"

Quintessential modern GMT. A steel Pepsi would probably be it but they have to get the red and blue right (along with other things). They really need to marry the pan am spirit with whatever modern aviation is today. Somehow the pan am days had a globetro...
Pepsi WG
By: MTR : May 20th, 2017-15:10
for me. Tried it a few months ago and like the weight and substance and warm colour tone. Green dial combined with WG would also be an intriguing and tempting option for me. Perhaps Rolex will produce this variation one day? Best, Thomas
All great choices...

My favourite would have to be the YG Black Dial... but its a watch that will get a lot of attention! So my second choice would be the WG Pepsi! But can't beat the SS Black Dial when it comes to value for $$.
Batman for me!

The first bi color bezel and love the color combo!
Steel and black

Nice and plain. I wish they'd stop polishing so much!
Here we go

The white gold Pepsi is too flat (the colors). The 'Batman' (stupid nickname because the Batman logo is black/yellow) is too cold and its nicknames annoy me. The GMT black bezel is a little bit boring. The yellow gold green dial would be my choice I guess...
Good point
By: Arie - Mr Orange : July 29th, 2017-23:29
And you are right. That would be best next step.

Red/blue white gold for me
By: emcquillan : July 31st, 2017-20:29
but even though I love it I never take the leap. When I compare the white gold Pepsi to other watches in the same bracket I just can't commit.
I've owned the Batman

A very nice watch I bought as soon as it came out, but it just wasn't a keeper for me. When I was very young I wore a black shirt and blue jacket and a very pretty young woman said they don't match. She ruined it for me. Lol.
Yes 100% true my friend

Besides a very dark navy suit and black shoes I never mix black and blue because of her. Another attractive young woman in University told me button down dress shirts don't go with ties. Guess what? I haven't worn a button down since . Haven't been given ...
