Steel Blue / Black versus White Gold Blue Red? Steel Black versus White Gold Red Blue? White metal? Or... Yellow Gold Black or Green Dial? Ok, I forgot the jeweled version and the two tone one. Still, there is enough choice here. What's your preference? B...
Aesthetically speaking, my favorite is the white gold "Pepsi" version. As a buyer, it would be too heavy I think for me. I like the 2-tone for the old school spirit, even though I wouldn't wear it as too visible where I live. However, I think I like them ...
I picked up my 116710BLNR in 2013 and it is by far the watch I wear the most. Movement is rock solid and (seemingly) very reliable, good looks and construction, and a very useful complication - it's just a very solid watch and not exorbitantly priced. I w...
Quintessential modern GMT. A steel Pepsi would probably be it but they have to get the red and blue right (along with other things). They really need to marry the pan am spirit with whatever modern aviation is today. Somehow the pan am days had a globetro...
for me. Tried it a few months ago and like the weight and substance and warm colour tone. Green dial combined with WG would also be an intriguing and tempting option for me. Perhaps Rolex will produce this variation one day? Best, Thomas
My favourite would have to be the YG Black Dial... but its a watch that will get a lot of attention! So my second choice would be the WG Pepsi! But can't beat the SS Black Dial when it comes to value for $$.
... offer this configuration for it would kill the red/blue white gold version. It makes sense to me. Most probably I would go for the steel/all black bezel version. I love the gold /green dial variant too, but too costly and not very wearable in my land....
The white gold Pepsi is too flat (the colors). The 'Batman' (stupid nickname because the Batman logo is black/yellow) is too cold and its nicknames annoy me. The GMT black bezel is a little bit boring. The yellow gold green dial would be my choice I guess...
A very nice watch I bought as soon as it came out, but it just wasn't a keeper for me. When I was very young I wore a black shirt and blue jacket and a very pretty young woman said they don't match. She ruined it for me. Lol.
Besides a very dark navy suit and black shoes I never mix black and blue because of her. Another attractive young woman in University told me button down dress shirts don't go with ties. Guess what? I haven't worn a button down since . Haven't been given ...
