Any news on Zenith's oscillator introduced last year?
It made a big bang when announced a year ago, featuring in the 10-piece limited run of Defy Lab, and promptly disappeared. I was very much looking forward to see it in regular production models, but no luck so far.
Does any fellow member have an idea -or speculation- on when we can hope to see Zenith watches featuring the new oscillator hitting the market?

I am hoping around the usual watch trade shows... maybe March?
It does not seem too difficult to produce, so I do not see why Zenith would wait any longer They could use some fresh releases and real technology to back these up. It is a promising breakthrough, and should find a place even in classically styled cases

But there has been nothing in the news. Let's hope to see these Creation sooner than later...
Zenith intends to shrink the size of the regulator to make it fit into more movements - e.g. chronographs...
which is currently close to impossible given the diameter of the regulator - you cannot get the axes for chronograph (or other complications') hands through to the dial. So there is still some development effort to make. Best, Magnus

But I hope they don't refrain from releasing simple three-handers while sorting out more complicated problems. Also looking forward to read about your experience with the Defy Lab....

You have an awesome looking example! Did you get a chance to have any objective performance evaluation? Like accuracy, power reserve, etc?
I did originally check the accuracy...
and it was maybe about a second or so out after a few days, but I did not test it much beyond that. The power reserve, no I didn't test it as love wearing it so could never leave it on the shelf long enough to see if it was good or not! It certainly lasts...

Though I guess the regular versions will come in more 'normal' cases...
