My 1st post in the Zenith Forum: El Primero Rainbow Flyback Chrono + question for experts
Thought I'd share pic of my latest catch for my first post in the Zenith Forum: the original El Primero Rainbow Flyback Chrono (circa 2007).
Just love this piece - wears so comfortably, the movement just sings (ahh that high freq beat!) and the timekeeping is superb (within 3 secs/day even with the chrono running)
BTW: could a resident expert here please tell me when this model was discontinued. I know the coloured Rainbow version was released in 1999 but don't know it was stopped (mine has papers stamped as 2007 but I always thought it was discontinued well before then). Cheers

I bought mine in 2000. 1st generation I believe. It looks small even on my skeletal arms. Just had it serviced instead of buying a new car. The tritium thing fell out. When I bought it, the strap clasp didn't work so I took it back under warranty. They se...
