After a week of being grounded at CDG because of weather at the Memphis hub, FedEx finally delivered this bad boy to my doorstep this morning. Talk about wrist presence! ...

Love mine, welcome to the club....

Question for you...

I was quite surprised how much force it takes to wind, compared to my other manual wind watches. Everything works...the power reserve indicator, etc...just want to know if it's normal.

It does take a very surprising amount of force to wind, that matches my experience. If it is normal or not I don't know....yet.

My piece is still in Switzerland to be returned late March. I asked about specifically about the amount of force required to wind the piece when I sent it in for service and will get an answer from the factory, I assume when my watch is returned. You may ...

Absolutely normal!

The main spring is huge which is the reason why you really have to apply so much force especially once you exceed the 30hrs of PR and get close to +40hrs. I initially thought there was a problem with mine back in 2013 when the piece was brand new but afte...

A big hello from mine ๐Ÿ˜Ž Best Thomas ...

You are too kind, mon ami ๐Ÿ™

Yes, one of my โ€œcraziestโ€ acquisitions. I own it for more than 9 years now. I saw it and there was no chance not to buy it. I HAD TO HAVE it and ignored itโ€™s size completely. I would have bought it also when the case would have been 60mm. Hahahahaha I hav...

2 mm less than the Zenith.

And the no-date dial (especially not at 4:30!!!) make up for another 10mm. ๐Ÿ˜Ž So we are at theoretically at 45,7 mm and can buy the X Fathoms without hesitation. ๐Ÿ˜‰

Perfectly agree with you Thomas :)

The moment I saw it back in 2012 was like: I have to buy this watch! I started contacting all Zenith boutiques and ADs until I was able to find 2 and didnโ€™t miss that chance so ended up buying both ๐Ÿ˜‚ This is one of the few pieces you just canโ€™t skip. ...

Wow. Two of them. LOLL

Thatโ€˜s pure passion.... Did you buy two times the Titanium or the Titanium and RG version?

I actually bought 2 Titanium ๐Ÿ˜‚

 By: Makilla : March 15th, 2021-15:50
Have been given the option to buy the RG as well but skipped it. For some reasons didnโ€™t believe that gold works well with the design. Titanium looks much nicer imho
