Back in the early 1990ies, this 18k Zenith ref. GH 171 got me started with vintage wrist watches.

A very slow start though as probably only about 10 more watches followed in the subsequent 20 years. And Zenith was kind enough to provide me with some information based on fotos that I had sent them by snail mail (mind: pre-Internet, pre-Email age......)

Cheers, HSTE

My first vintage watch was a JLC E855. Still with me, if I knew what kind of madness it would bring... Maybe I never would have picked it up! Best Blomman

Oh, I just remembered...

The E855 was actually my second vintage. My very first vintage was a Omega Seamaster bumper automatic! Sorry for the confusion... P489? Could it have been a ref 3150 or 3151? Best Blomman ...

Great shot! [nt]

Love how Zenith keeps track of all the pieces they produce 👌🏼

Back when everything was free? :D I remember when Omega used to do the same, for free :D now theres a charge associated with everything, every company seems to do everything except service

properly that is like the final frontier in customer service. Its good to see the class Zenith have exhibited, lets hope this won't be left in the past and will only carry over in the future for determining the history of our timepieces, they have been gr...
