What happened to theTime Museum...

 

When The Time Museum closed most of Seth Atwood's collection, including this watch, went up for auction. However for those interested in more information on this great collection and former museum, they did publish 3 books about the collection. One was on American pocket watches and lists this watch, another book was on Chronometers, another about Astrolabes. I'm sure if you do an internet search on "The Time Museum" you will find interesting information as someone is still operating a website dedicated to the old museum with some information and links. I don't want to violate any guidelines by adding a link or appearing to shill for the books. I don't have a personal interest in their publication, I just like them as a resource.

 I got to see this particular watch after it was purchased at auction. No, not by me, as they say "Property of a Gentleman". I just supply tech support and probably a fair amount of drool!
